What else I can make

From photo to portrait

The process

beware of dog

  1. The original sign was doing its job. I just gave it a glow-up it didn't ask for but absolutely deserved.
  2. Same dog, different energy.

The process

the puppy at the vet

  1. This one was challenging, because the photo that was sent was the puppy at the vet, but I wanted to make it as dreamy and soft as possible.

The process

ellie

  1. This painting went through several color variations before everything finally felt right.
  2. I kept softening the expression and adjusting the colors to make the pug feel cuter and more lovable.
  3. The final piece became a dreamy mix of playful colors, texture, and personality.

The process

shray in osaka

  1. Shray wanted to capture his trip to Osaka, Japan. He was sure to share a bunch of photos with elements he wanted in the final piece.
  2. The theme was the spotlight is on him, and he's moving towards only good things.
  3. I used the color palette from a vintage Godzilla poster he loved. I also took the night sky as inspiration and hand-painted each sign, making them glow.

The process

the life of the party

  1. This painting was inspired by her personality — fun, warm, the life of the party. A devoted knitter with a wild streak, and a well-earned love of whiskey.
  2. The brief was simple: put her in the middle of a party, surrounded by people having fun.
  3. I decided to carry her love of knitting into the whole scene, so her clothing became hand-knitted and one of a kind — just like her.

she knits, she laughs, she fills a room — and somehow all of that had to end up on canvas.

The process

father and son, kenya

  1. This painting was inspired by a trip to Kenya — a quiet moment between father and son that I wanted to remain in the mind forever.
  2. The color palette leaned more muted and earthy this time, with my signature pops of color woven through.
