I am a self-taught artist, fuelled by a passion for creating visual narratives. I love painting colourful and vivid pieces.

I find joy in crafting visual stories through pixels and colors, inspired by my own personal experiences. The digital medium allows me to create with a spectrum of styles, experiment with endless possibilities, and seamlessly capture my thoughts.

the method

I keep things simple. Most of my art is inspired by a vision I have had which I sketch out first. Music has been a massive part of my creative journey and many of my paintings are inspired by a particular song or line that stood out to me. Sometimes my ideas come straight from visual expressions from my diary.

I don’t limit myself to any specific medium and enjoy painting in various ways such as on canvas, collages, and digital sketching. Sometimes I love to draw on top of things that inspire me.

Since I am most comfortable using acrylics, I apply the same techniques to my digital work. I apply the same paint strokes I would use on canvas to my digital art, and often use the same brushes I love in my studio.

I spend a lot of time researching and learning from artists I love. Some of my favourites are Van Gogh, David Hockney and Henri Matisse.

I look at art as a way of personal expression. Pursuing bold colours and shying away from perfectionism. It allows my inner child to play and learn.

I love to experiment with how my art conveys my impressions of the world. It’s often a visual expression of personal growth, be it the discovery of a hidden strength, the power in serenity, or even being grateful for the world that surrounds me.

Art has a way of teaching me who I am and where I want to be. My objective is not to create a flawless image, but rather serve as a form of release. It often represents a different understanding of life and how to approach it.

Pursuing art has been an exercise in letting go. It has shown me that work can be fun, healing and can resonate with others.
